How To Train Your Puppy
As I have already mentioned in one of my previous blogs, puppies need time and patience just like kids. My advice has always been that if you don’t have enough time and nerves, please don’t get a puppy, get an adult dog that already has manners.
However, if this is your first time taking care of a dog, either a puppy or an adult dog, this book is a perfect guide to teach your pet basic commands. Your new pet has to know where to do and where not to do their needs, how to behave in the house, not to chew everything in sight and most importantly not to bite!
Many new owners take dogs for granted. They think dogs only need food and walk. I see them daily walking their dogs or better to say their dogs walking them along the street. The bigger they are the stronger they pull on the leash. That doesn’t mean that one has to be physically strong to control them. Mental strength is needed to control dogs, especially large breeds.
Remember, you have to be the alpha in your team. However, never forget to be gentle and kind to our best friends. They need you, need your time, patience and attention. Teach them properly and enjoy the time spent with them.
